Studio (w Solar Backup, Pool)
Description
Studio by Pedu Paya is a peaceful, air-conditioned bed-sitter (or studio in Americanese) built to bring you closer to nature. Glazing on two sides frames views of natural and landscaped gardens. It has a modern kitchenette with all the basics and a private patio where you can entertain a guest or enjoy dinner. The studio sits on a secluded nook of an acre sized property with a couple other eclectic dwellings and a pool. We have a 2016 Nissan Xtrail 4x4 (see pictures) and a Starlink for hire The space We're 6km from downtown Harare and 7 mins from Avondale Shopping center. Check out our guidebook for nearby restaurants/foods spots https://abnb.me/Es8eWvpKyyb This space is connected to our solar power backup system so that in the event of utility company power cut (load shedding), which we unfortunately have often, the lights will stay on, the fridge/internet/tv will still work, and you can still operate devices like computers and charge phones. Our hot water is gas powered so you are assured there will be hot water even when there's a power cut. Let the host know if water temperature needs to be adjusted August to October are dry months, the grass is not as green and we like to take an environmentally friendly approach to managing it. There are guinea fowl and chickens on the property, they blend well with the birds that chirp all day long and add charm to the tranquil setting. Guest access Guests may use the gardens, the pool. Garden space directly around a space is only for the occupants of that space. The rest is shared Other things to note The studio is equipped with a formidable solar backup system to provide power for lights, internet, tv and the fridge during power outages which, sadly, are very common here in Harare. With our gas stove and gas-powered hot water you can still enjoy the conveniences of this beautiful space during a power outage.
