It is the most perfect retreat getaway featuring a beautiful kitchen, super fast WiFI, expansive outdoor space, porch swing, two fireplaces & a fire pit. The cabin is only 8 miles from downtown Blue Ridge & 10 miles from downtown Ellijay with tons of restaurants, wineries, hiking & mountain bike trails to choose from. Dogs welcome (with fee associated)! Graced by endless views of the mountains from the main and upstairs deck, Hanu's lodge is made of lovely log construction and exudes time honored charm! Inside you will find 3 large en-suite bedrooms, featuring one king and three queen beds, that lead to an open deck. Enjoy your morning coffee on the deck with gorgeous fog and sunshine. How about a delicious cocktail in the evening by the fire? My personal fav is the porch swing! I love reading a book, listening to nature sounds while sipping on some coffee, it's pure bliss! Additionally, in the basement level, there is an equipped game room with a large couch, foosball table, a dart board, a TV (equipped with Roku) and tons of board games. All bedrooms feature a TV equipped with Hulu/Netflix/Amazon prime + more. The main floor TV is on a rolling deck - enjoy it on the deck if your heart desires! Parking is available in front of the cabin and you can comfortably park 3-4 cars on a gravel driveway! You can walk the neighborhood for a mini hike and enjoy some fresh air, but be on the lookout for mountain animals (rare). We will be completely available by phone or messaging throughout your stay to make sure your visit is as comfortable and enjoyable as possible! The basement level features a super cool den with a foosball table and tons of board games to choose from, a 47” TV with Roku features, a full bath and an infrared sauna! Downtown Blue Ridge is less than 8 miles away and downtown Ellijay is less than 10 miles away - there are tons of wineries, restaurants, brunch spots, coffee shops to choose from - you can literally eat your way through these adorable boutique towns! Your own car is the best way to get around. If you are planning on cooking, we recommend shopping before you arrive at Ingle's in Blueridge or Ingle's in Ellijay (both are about 15 minutes and 9 miles from the cabin). There is a paved access road from the base of the mountain (starting point is The Pink Pig (a very famous and delicious BBQ restaurant) that brings you up to Mount Hanumate, a little less than a mile in distance. Please let me know if you are bringing a pet to the cabin BEFORE booking. There is a fee associated. I only allow dogs at this time; no cats as I am very allergic to them. Two dogs maximum, weight restrictions apply and a few rules for fur babies as well, thank you!
