Set on 760 acres of bushland with 2.5km of private river and a stocked dam, it’s ideal for slow mornings, quiet fishing, and long nights under the stars. Soak in the outdoor bath, sip wine by the fire, and wake to birdsong instead of alarms. The space Tucked beside a dam on our family-run retreat, the cabin gives you complete privacy and all the space you need to just be. Fish from the jetty, explore the bush trails, or sit on the deck as kangaroos, wallabies, deer, and wild goats wander past. Inside, you’ll find a cosy queen bed, loft space, private ensuite, and a simple kitchenette with a bar fridge, gas burners, and BBQs. Solar-powered and thoughtfully styled, it’s rustic without roughing it — and the outdoor bath is made for memory-making. Guest access The entire cabin and surrounding bushland are yours to enjoy — including the river, dam, and private walking tracks. Access is via a well-maintained dirt road (2WD friendly). We’ll send you the gate code and directions the day before you arrive. The cabin is located on Dam 2, and signs will guide you in. Other things to note Kingfisher is fully off-grid — no standard power points, but USB charging is available. Stay warm with a diesel heater in winter and cool with a fan in summer. Mobile reception is limited (Telstra only), but trust us — that’s part of the magic. We provide firewood, luxury linen, and bath essentials - no hidden extras or added fees.
