The space Nestled amidst a 1.5-acre haven overflowing with fragrant spices like Black Pepper, Cardamom, Clove, Cocoa, Jack fruit, Mango, and more! While this isn't a commercial plantation, I cultivate a variety of plants for our own enjoyment, creating a stunning natural backdrop. Mature trees including Jack fruit, Teak, and Mahogany contribute to the fresh air and serene atmosphere. Rooms are private with private entry from outside, offering peace and tranquility. Your ensuite bathroom provides added convenience. This is your ideal escape to relax and reconnect with nature. Guest access Unwind on the Patio: Step outside your private room and relax on the shared patio, a delightful open-air dining area perfect for enjoying a cup of tea, conversation, and soaking in the fresh air. Explore the Surroundings: Take a leisurely evening stroll, grab a refreshing coffee or tea from a nearby shop, or head to the nearby badminton court to watch a game or even join in the fun (subject to availability). A breathtaking sunset point awaits you within a kilometer's walk. Additional Services (subject to availability and additional charges): 1. Spice and Tree Tour: Embark on a guided walk through my personal spice plantation, teeming with fragrant plants and towering trees. Be prepared for a moderately steep (45-degree) slope within the plantation area. 2. Guided Activities: If my schedule allows, I'd be happy to guide you on a trek or village visit for an additional fee. 3. Off-Road Jeep Safari: Experience the thrill of an off-road jeep safari, arranged upon request and at an additional cost. 4. Limited Kitchenette: While a dedicated kitchen isn't available, we offer a one-burner stove, gas cylinder, and basic utensils in the open area to cater to your simple cooking needs. This service is available upon request and for a nominal charge. 5. Laundry Service: Laundry service is available for a charge of Rs 200 per wash, with a 5 kg limit. 6. Transportation: If I'm free, I can be your personal driver to nearby tourist destinations for a standard taxi fare (Rs 2000 for the first 80 km, then Rs 20 per km thereafter). Please refer to the in-house taxi manual for the latest rates, terms, and conditions. Minimum fare applies (Rs 2000). 7. Dining Options: Restaurants are located approximately 7 km away, with some offering limited home delivery service. Alternatively, we can provide delicious home-cooked vegetarian meals with eggs upon request. Non-vegetarian options are also available if ordered in advance and for a minimum quantity. Meal Menu: * Breakfast (Rs 110 per person): Puttu/Appam/Idly with Vegetable or Egg Curry. * Lunch (Rs 150 per person): Traditional Kerala-style Veg Curry & Rice Meal. * Dinner (Rs 120 per person): Chapathi with Vegetable Curry OR Kanji (Brown Rice Gruel) with Vegetable Curries. Beverages: We offer tea and coffee options. Milk tea/coffee is Rs 20, black tea/coffee is Rs 15. Please Note: Instant food orders are not available. Kindly inform us about your meal preferences the night before for the next day. Other things to note 1. Authentic Homestay Experience: This is your chance to experience a true homestay! There's no commercial signage, allowing you to feel like part of the family and immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the village. (Location is accurate on Airbnb, but I'm happy to provide detailed directions to ensure a smooth arrival.) 2. Eco-Conscious Living: Your room is powered by solar energy, so we kindly ask you to conserve electricity for continued enjoyment by all. The maximum appliance wattage within the room is 300 watts. Please let us know in advance if you need to use anything exceeding this limit. 3. Unwind and Reconnect: Disconnect from the TV and reconnect with nature! Enjoy the peace and quiet, or stay connected with high-speed Wi-Fi available inside and outside your room. 4. Seasonal Waterfall Beauty: The cascading waterfall is most spectacular from June to January, but the surrounding landscape remains captivating year-round, even with less water flow. 5. Hillside Terrain: As a village nestled in the Western Ghats, expect uneven roads and paths. The approach to my home and the plantation itself have moderate slopes (around 45 degrees). 8. Parking Information: Free parking is available in an open area along the approach road to my home. The space can be a bit congested, and reverse parking is recommended. I'm happy to assist you with parking upon arrival! 9. Peaceful Environment: We observe quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
