My Island Home - La Galerie is one of two self-contained accommodations that make up My Island Home, the other being Le Studio. Located on a secure and well-planted property, this atypical house offers everything you need for a pleasant stay in Huahine. With the 2 bikes provided we are only 10 minutes from the town of Fare, beaches, activities and archaeological sites. Our airport, boat or strategic point transfers are free! The space Previously forming a friendly tropical family home with "Le Studio", "La Galerie" can let it the life that surrounds it: the other people present, the neighbors' dogs, the road, the cyclists and their music... This house of several levels with mezzanine, will offer you a total immersion in the real everyday life of the island. (If you feel overwhelmed by the experience or are a light sleeper, we provide free earplugs upon request if they are not already in your accommodation.) The entrance from the shared terrace leads you to the large family room which consists of a living room, the kitchen and a dining area. Two settees in the living room serve as beds for groups of more than two people. The equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare your meals comfortably. The dining table is more intimate option to the shared tables on the terrace. A second more private terrace, opening from the kitchen, provides access to a more private garden with banana trees and flowering shrubs, on the other side of the house. Above the living room, the mezzanine offers a third sleeping area with two single mattresses, lights, fan and a view over the kitchen and dining table. The master bedroom has a queen size bed (two places) and plenty of very spacious closet space so that you can completely unpack and feel at home. The bathroom adjoining this bedroom is also accessible from the back garden. Please note that this is rather open to the bedroom, so anyone with privacy issues should be warned that bath time will definitely need to be accommodated. In your kitchen, you'll find breakfast supplies and we deliver a baguette fresh from the bakery every morning, free of charge, so you don't have to start your day with a shopping trip to town. To sum up this is a house that has plenty of room for six people and even more with extra mattresses. Guest access You have access at all times to the shared terrace and relaxing pool. There are tables and chairs in the shaded area of the terrasses for those who wish to dine outdoors. The terrace is also a nice spot for star-gazing as the day winds down. Le Studio shares the terrace and yard with our other accommodation, La Galerie. The two bungalows are in close proximity but we try our best to assure privacy for each as well as the opportunity to meet fellow voyagers. The house in the back is a private residence. Other things to note In your kitchen, you'll find breakfast supplies : coffee, tea, sugar and butter.. Every morning we will deliver fresh baguette free of charge to your terrace, so you don't have to start your day with a shopping trip. We live in a tropical climate with the mosquitos that come with it, despite our best efforts to treat the property you may encounter some of those uninvited guest. This is why you'll find mosquito nets above the beds and electric anti-mosquito machines in the bedroom and the living room. We have exterior cameras installed to keep an eye on any intruders on the land, for your privacy none are directed on the pool or terraces. Registration Details 287DTO-MT
