The Experience Your day here might unfold like this: Dawn: Step out to watch the sun rise, soak in an outdoor baths. Cup of coffee, chilled air. Midday: Head out to explore Rawson or nearby Walhalla; trails, scenery, surprise views around every bend. Afternoon: Return to cook together, maybe use the fire pit, light the wood fire or just laze back in comfort with a book or movie. Evening: Deep soak outdoors, dinner by firelight, visit the local pub, movie on the giant cinema screen, perhaps laughter spilled over board games or reminiscing. At night, the sky is alive: stars, crisp air, quiet. And throughout the day, nature comes to you - deer often wander past the back of the property, and a chorus of native birds provides the soundtrack. Good to Know • While the property feels private, this is still a neighbourhood - you may occasionally hear neighbours heading out, or the hum of a lawnmower from nearby houses. Most guests find it part of the charm of a lived-in mountain town. • Sleeps 6 with ease. • The outdoor baths are not a hot tub; there is hot water for two full baths before needing to reheat. Bathe strategically. • The area is remote: limited shops, petrol stations 30 mins away - bring what you’ll need. Full access, full privacy. The linen closet and workshop are locked. Other things to note 🛌 Sleeping Arrangements Please book your pets in, we prep the house especially for pets to keep it comfy for all guests. Main Bedroom: Double bed, views & small ensuite. Bedroom 2: Queen bed. Bedroom 3: Two singles. All beds have electric blankets and heaters in all bedrooms. While we provide lots of blankets and throws, bring house shoes; nights can get cold. Linen is very comfy. We’re in the mountains - we deep clean every stay, but you may still meet a fly or two. It’s part of the forest charm. We also provide: • Travel cot + highchair (please bring cot bedding for hygiene). • The area is remote: There is a basic general store, petrol stations and supermarkets 30 mins away - bring what you’ll need.
