Our Family Lake house Retreat

Our guests don't want to leave our private, peaceful and scenic 3/4 acre lakefront property! Kayaking, paddle board, hiking, biking, fishing, sitting on the sunny warm deck watching sunsets on the lake, making smores by the fire are fabulous amenities this place offers. 3 bedrooms (sleeps 6) , an open kitchen/ living room area. 700 sq ft deck with BBQ & pergola. Public boat launch. Stocked kitchen. Bunkie available on request for 2 extra guests. 15 min to Truro, 35 min to Halifax airport! The space Situated between the Halifax airport (35 min) and Truro. Minutes to town and RECC, malls, restauraunts and parks.(see guidebook) Hiking and biking trails to the back left of property will lead you to a road that goes to public boat launch area. Also spawning grounds of some local fish. Other wildlife common in this place is bunnies, ducks, geese, loons, eagles, deer and hosts of many bird breeds. The private road is well maintained and cleared year round! Guest access Property is the end of a lane which extends into hiking trails. For family fun for poor weather, games and books are in fireplace mantel. Guests are welcome to use firepit on patio with wood provided. Guests may rent bunkie for extra sleeping for 2 and extra bathroom. Warm months only. Other things to note For winter months, the privately owned road is maintained by the wonderful residents who live there. Road clearing is not a problem! BBQ will not be available from Nov - April.
