Description

Discover the hidden gem, Nightingale Barn, just 9 minutes south of Eston, SK. Nestled on a picturesque acreage, it boasts a private nook in the yard for ultimate tranquility. Experience solitude and breathtaking views of endless fields and skies. This small, quaint guesthouse exudes vintage charm. The space The Nightingale Barn, originally constructed in 1993 for the horse "Smokin Joe," underwent a remarkable transformation in 2007, turning into a cozy guesthouse. In 2023, the barn received a refreshing update, ensuring it remains a charming and inviting retreat for guests. Inside the guesthouse, you will find a comfortable queen-size bed, a shower for your convenience, and amenities such as air conditioning, a mini fridge, a hot plate, Our Place toaster oven, an electric fireplace, AC, and a heater, ensuring a cozy and enjoyable stay. We do have wi-fi but it’s a bit spotty - truly a place to disconnect and unwind. Step outside onto the south-facing deck, adorned with a pergola, where you can bask in the warmth of the sun and take in the surrounding beauty. In the evenings, gather around the fire pit to enjoy a cozy and relaxing atmosphere under the starry skies. Or head to the dugout where there are chairs and fish food to feed the trout. The Nightingale Barn offers a serene and memorable retreat, allowing you to relax, and create cherished moments amidst its tranquil surroundings. Guest access Turn onto our lane and go straight until you see the blue bicycle on the left. The Nightingale Barn is situated through the trees following the walkway. Feel free to park either beside the bike or the open area to the right. Other things to note Enjoy the serene solitude at The Nightingale Barn with a peaceful walk. Please be mindful of our young children when coming and going in the yard. Please be respectful and avoid entering other buildings on the property. Our friendly dogs (Dasher & Molly) may bark but are welcoming, and there are multiple farm cats and sometimes kittens. We are in the country, surrounded by fields and Mother Nature is at work. You may see wildlife such as animals, rodents, & insects. We cannot control mother nature and therefore do not refund if you encounter her business during your stay. During your stay at The Nightingale Barn, you'll receive a warm welcome with farm-fresh eggs. You're invited to cook them on the provided hot plate. If you need to do dishes, kindly use the bathroom sink. We understand that this may not be ideal, so you're also welcome to leave them until the end of your stay. Please be mindful of water usage as the building has a small water tank.
