The Willows - peaceful, scenic camping for tents

Bring your own tent to our tiny quiet campsite with no electric hook up and space for a few pitches (depending on size) with views over the field where our sheep, poultry and llama live. There are two separate areas, both large enough for up to 8 people and two medium size tents. Although there is no direct access to your pitch for vehicles, parking is only a few yards away. The space The Willows This is nearer the facilities and very popular with families. There is an uninterrupted view through a stock mesh fence over the field, so even the smallest guests can see the animals. The Oaks Slightly further away from facilities and other buildings, this site is more secluded and favoured by those who wish to sit round the camp fire, maybe cook over the embers (we have a tripod and Dutch oven for hire). It is ideal for a group of couples wanting to spend a weekend close to nature, but with great coffee available from our village shop 10 minutes walk away! Both areas have firepits where small campfires are permitted, subject to weather conditions, or where you can set up your barbeque. The loo/shower room is shared. The price is for one person with tent and car. Use of the kitchen and laundry facilities are available at an extra charge. Kitchen and laundry facilities provided for an additional charge. Other things to note Access to a public footpath is straight from the site with no need to walk along roads. This leads in one direction via the churchyard to both local pubs (nearest is 4 minutes’ walk) and to our excellent village shop & cafe, also the cricket/football ground which is a great place for children to charge about (when there are no matches in play). The other direction heads across farmland for country walks of varying lengths.
