Kern River: In nearby Kernville, about 8 miles from the cabin, enjoy tubing and rafting adventures down the scenic Kern River. Lake Isabella: Just 8 miles away, this lake offers opportunities for boating, kayaking, fishing, camping, and lakeside picnics. Local spots provide equipment rentals, and there are multiple access points around the lake. Trail of 100 Giants: A beautiful, easy loop trail through a grove of ancient giant sequoias in the Giant Sequoia National Monument—perfect for all ages and just about 1.5 hours from the cabin (when the Kernville route is open).
