Located on a forest, overlooking meadows, our cottage is near Havelte, Giethoorn, Appelscha, Vledder, Diever, the Weerribben and the Colony of Benevolence in Frederiksoord. All these beautiful places are accessible by (electric) bicycle. The space This Natuurhuisje is located in one of the most beautiful places in Northwest Overijssel. It was built in 1910 and restored in 2004 while retaining original details. It has a total area of 57 m2. In the living room, there is a kitchen annex dining area. There are two bedsteads, one of which offers sleeping accommodation. In the other, there are kitchen attributes. In the bathroom, there is a bathtub and a walk-in shower, the toilet is separate. The cottage has its own entrance, a garden door from the bedroom, a private south-facing terrace with garden furniture, a hammock and a secluded lawn surrounded by a hedge. Children are welcome in consultation, a crib can be added to the bedroom. Walking, cycling and running routes run along our grounds. Four Icelandic horses, 2 dwarf schnauzers and a cat are our fellow residents. Swallows, woodpeckers, many species of songbirds, deer, hares, badgers and foxes also know how to find us. Our garden is a wild garden that is also sometimes used by our old horse for grazing. She walks neatly over the paths and leaves the flowers alone. Those looking for peace and quiet have come to the right place. For groceries, we go to Steenwijk or Vledder.
