Your very own fall color tour without ever leaving the property! 80 acres with spectacular views from the scenic overlook. Walk the groomed/marked trails through the many fields and woods. Make your way back to the Bestie Valley Trail (cuts through property) for miles of biking and walking. Close to numerous restaurants, shopping, golf courses, beaches and much more. This is Northern Michigan living at its finest! This is a studio apartment, located on the second floor above a garage, which provides a panoramic view of the property with windows on all four sides. There is a new queen bed in the space, along with two futons that can be folded down into full size beds. We have two places next to each other. See our other listing "The Yurt on Homestead Acres." There may be renters there during your stay, but both have private access and are far enough apart. See exterior pics. The entire apartment is for guests, and half of the garage below is available for a car or bikes. The entire 80 acres is yours to hike and explore. We will always be availably by telephone - text or call with question big or small. At times, we will be in the yurt, but when we are not, we have local professionals who will manage anything that comes up. There are no human neighbors nearby, but lots of deer, turkeys, raccoons, bullfrogs, and birds. The 22-mile Betsie Trail was built on the old rail line and runs across the middle of our property. It can be a challenging hike to get down to it, but if you're up for adventure, it's worth the hard work. There may be guests at Yurt next door. Private access and plenty of room between. Enjoy!
