The Piggery is a self contained building situated in the grounds of our family home. Boasting a countryside location surrounded by farmland and on the Jodrell Bank world heritage site. Located just 3 miles from Congleton, 5 miles to the M6 & 10 miles from Lapland UK at Capesthorne Hall!Perfect for business with dedicated fast internet or pleasure, particularly with late checkout time! Lots of local attractions right on the doorstep. Added bonus- The nearest pub is a pleasant 1 mile walk away. The space The Piggery is fully equipped for comfortable self-catering, with everything you need to cook and dine at your leisure. Should you find yourself missing a particular utensil or kitchen essential, we’re usually able to help — just let us know. We provide complimentary tea, coffee, sugar, cooking oil, and a selection of spices, and you’ll find fresh milk in the fridge on arrival, so you can settle in with a well-earned cup of tea after your journey. We’re happy to accommodate special requests where possible, whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or arriving later than planned. Our aim is for you to feel relaxed and well looked after from the moment you arrive, so please don’t hesitate to get in touch — we’re always glad to help when we can. Guest access Guests enjoy exclusive use of The Piggery, a fully self-contained building accessed via our private gravel driveway. The accommodation is thoughtfully arranged, with the bathroom conveniently located on the ground floor, making the space comfortable and easy to use throughout your stay. Other things to note A Note on Our Setting & Pets We share our home with two much-loved family dogs — a Labrador and a Beagle — who also keep a watchful eye over our young son. They’re both very friendly and may greet you on arrival with a little enthusiastic barking and wagging tails — they make excellent (and cheerful) countryside doorbells. If you’re not comfortable around animals or prefer an urban environment, The Piggery may not be the right fit. Our setting is proudly rural, peaceful, and full of country character. Things to Note The bathroom is located on the ground floor and is easily accessible from both sleeping areas. This layout works particularly well for two couples travelling together or for guests who may appreciate easier mobility. For two guests requiring separate sleeping arrangements, an additional linen charge applies to cover the extra preparation. Please let us know your preference when booking.
