ENTIRE HOME RENTAL: Not Shared. This cinder block home built in 1912, boasts original hardwoods that bring comfort and warmth. While on a main drag, traffic is no drag. Sounds struggle to penetrate this fortress. Rest deeply and awake to a home flooded in natural light through large original windows. On chilly mornings enjoy a cup of coffee in front of the beautiful electric fireplace or in more temperate weather, the front porch with its luxuriously comfortable sofa, is a guest favorite. Guest access Take caution with the stairs in the back and to the basement. NOTE: the back door will lock automatically if the latch is not switched down to secure it as open. If for some reason you do get locked out, let us know so that we may assist. We are available 24 hours a day for such emergencies. We are in the process of upgrading to keyless entry. We appreciate your patience on this aspect. Laundry is in the basement. There is also a functioning toilet, but no sink. This is not uncommon in homes of this period. Someday we do intend to build a full bathroom down there, but that is not today. There is some storage of personal items in the basement, we ask to remain private. There is an attic loft that we rent on certain occasions that otherwise is gingerly locked. The rest of the house is for you to enjoy.
