The Front Range Chalet is a unique mountainside home in one of Alaska's most coveted neighborhoods. The living room offers amazing sunsets and mountain views across the inlet. Enjoy the the electric sauna, the very well equipped kitchen, and the 64" TV and sound system. The deck is one of the gems of the property and provides a great place to relax and appreciate the endless views or bundle up and view the aurora. In the summer there is deck furniture, a propane heater, and high-end BBQ for your use. There's a dedicated office space for remote workers, fully equipped with a stand-sit desk, wobble stool, monitors, keyboard, mouse, and plenty of office supplies. Winter (November-March): Winter on the flanks of an Alaskan mountain range can be snowy and cold, but peaceful, dark, and cozy for aurora viewing. Plan to drive a 4WD vehicle and come equipped for winter. Snow removal services plow every 2” of snow fall. Guest access There's plenty of parking and the front door on the deck has a keypad for entry at your convenience. In 2024, 5 spruce trees were planted and triple-pane windows were installed. In 2025, a new high efficiency fireplace and insulation went in.
