The tastefully designed, modern, 2-storey Villa Maxima, situated in the wind-sheltered Glen area of Camps Bay, can comfortably accommodate 16 guests. The property consists of a 6-bedroom villa, with 5 ensuites, as well as a 2-bed, 2 ensuite apartment. Spectacular views of the Atlantic and Table mountain can be seen from both levels and a generous terrace leads onto a manicured garden with a stunning night-lit swimming pool. The vibey promenade with many great restaurants is only 15 min walk away The space Villa Maxima, hosted by Lavinia Mc Garrity, with its multiple levels, is ideal for a large group or family. The 8-bedroom luxury villa consists of the 6-bedroom villa, plus a 2-bedroom apartment located at the same address. When rented separately, the apartment is private and doesn't have access to the villa pool or garden area. When rented together, the apartment will have a key with access to the villa grounds. There are 8 bedrooms in total, 7 of which have ensuite bathrooms and 1 with no bathroom. There are two WC's (half bathrooms with toilet and sink). The swimming pool is heated through solar power by roof paneling, hence weather dependant. DURING LOADSHEDING : During load-shedding electrical appliances such as the stove, hairdryers, air-con and heaters may not be used as it will overload the system, which then requires an electrician to come and reset the system. Thank you for your understanding. THE HEATED POOL : Is heated through solar power, hence weather permitted. Guest access Guests booking the 8-bedroom villa have full access to the entire property, including the swimming pool and apartment. Other things to note LOADSHEDDING Please note we have an inverter back-up system which powers the lights, Wi-Fi, TV, alarm system and appliances. The only items that are not covered by the back-up system are the fridge, stove and intercom for opening the main door. The back-up system consists of 2 x batteries and 2 x 5 kw inverters, which is sufficient for all lights and plugs. During load-shedding electrical appliances such as the stove, hairdryers, air-con and heaters may not be used as it will overload the system, which then requires an electrician to come and reset the system. No DJs allowed, and any background music will need to be turned down at 10 pm. - Overnight occupation is strictly according to the number of persons on the reservation contract. - We understand that accidents happen. But we do ask that you please let us know when they do so we can fix them more efficiently, limiting any costs incurred. - Please do not leave children unattended. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times when using the swimming pool area. The owners do not accept liability for any incident related to the swimming pool as this area is not childproof. - Please note that no events, professional video or photo shoots are permitted at the villa without prior written approval, in such case an additional fee of R10,000 will apply. Drones are strictly prohibited. If drone use or unapproved filming occurs again, a penalty will be charged. - Smoking is strictly prohibited on the property. Failure to comply may result in charges being incurred by the tenant. - Glass patio/terrace tables may not be moved under any circumstances. They are fragile and carry a high risk of breaking if handled or relocated. AIRCON: The villa has an aircon upstairs in the master bedroom, another aircon in the master bedroom downstairs, one aircon in the lounge upstairs and one aircon in the lounge downstairs. All other bedrooms have a fan. One aircon in the lounge of the of 2 bedroom apartment. All other bedrooms have a fan.
