Spacious and pretty country home 2 hours from Manhattan, a perfect place to enjoy a country vacation. Visit our farm down the road, feed the animals, pick blueberries in season, hike nearby mountains, swim in local lakes and pools, visit the hip town of Mountain Dale. Walking distance to two synagogues. The space This charming three bedroom house comfortably sleeps nine. If you need more space, check out our other homes nearby! A large living room, perfect for relaxing with friends and family, has comfy furniture and a 65" television. The bookshelf is stocked board games. The foosball game provides hours of fun. The spacious kitchen has an island with stools for eating, working, and chatting with the cook. There is a large, brand new washing machine and dryer inside the home. The outdoor space is heavenly. Children can play safely out back on the swing set or run on the front lawn. Sit on the front lawn under the shade of the trees or nap in the hammock as you listen to the birds sing and feel your tension unwind - the perfect spot to enjoy the beautiful Catskills. Roast s'mores at night in the enormous fire pit and take in the starry nights. Down the road is our farm where you can feed the animals (see pictures in our photos) and nearby are our fields with hundreds of blueberry bushes where you can pick blueberries in season. We are located a short way from the hip town of Mountaindale and close to beautiful hiking in the Shawangunk mountains and many mountain lakes. Mountain Dale has a town park with a swimming pool and a lake. See the description below in "neighborhood description" for a listing of many things to do around us. This one story house, which has no stairs inside and a ramp to the back door (with one small step), is great for people with limited mobility. There are safety bars in the bathroom for getting in and out of the baths/showers. Please note, however, that there is one step on the ramp so the house is not wheelchair accessible. Guest access The entire house as just for you and your guests to enjoy! Other things to note Susan and Joseph are Superhosts who rent out four beautiful homes located within 2 miles of each other. Collectively the four homes can sleep 65 people, with lots of private spaces, bathrooms, outdoor areas, and room to celebrate as a group.
