This delightful, double fronted period cottage ticks many boxes and will appeal to a small family, couples and friends who are looking for somewhere rather special to stay. A lot of thought has been put into the decor and furnishings to make it stand out and be just that little bit different. There's a mixture of new and some old, much loved family pieces to enjoy. With two bedrooms (king-size and twin), two bathrooms, and three living areas to chose from, as well as a modern, newly fitted kitchen, there's plenty of space here to keep everyone more than happy. Thoughtful extras for young families include a cot, portable bed guard, booster seats, high chair, stair gates and a fire guard, so the whole family will enjoy a safe and comfortable stay. If you can bear to tear yourself away for the day, Mulberry Cottage is a lovely retreat to return to after a busy day exploring Wells, spending a day on the beach, or even venturing further afield. With so much to do, it might be hard to choose. And you've no need to worry about finding somewhere to park when you get back - there are two parking spaces here for you. But, if you just want to stay in and relax, there's no nicer place to be. From the cottage, you are only a few minutes' walk from the centre of this ever popular seaside town, with its bustling quayside, independent shops, cafes and some great gastro pubs. It's only a ten minute walk to the quay and, if you are feeling energetic, and like walking, you can reach Wells beach in another ten to fifteen minutes (or quicker if you are super fit). It's well worth the effort - this is one of the most stunning beaches you will see. There is something here for everyone, at any time of year and whatever your age. And please don't leave without trying a spot of crabbing from the quay, and some of the freshest fish and chips around. Additional Information: Sorry, no pets. Freeview television with Netflix, DVD player and Bluetooth speaker. Dining room Dining table with seating for six. The fireplace is decorative only, not for use. Family room A contemporary space at the back of the house with a comfy sofa and armchair. French doors lead into the courtyard garden. Shower room Shower cubicle, wash basin and WC. Kitchen Very well-equipped modern kitchen with electric fan oven, gas hob, fridge freezer, dishwasher and microwave. There is a small hatch to the dining room. A stable door leads to the courtyard garden.. Inner lobby Coat hooks and boot rack . From the front entrance hall, steep stairs, with handrail, lead to First Floor: Landing area A spacious area with comfy chair and bookshelves, table and lamp. Bedroom one With a King-size bed, large chest of drawers and peg rail with hangers. Bedroom two With two full-size single beds, a small wardrobe, with hanging and drawers, and a peg rail with hangers. Bathroom Two steps lead down into the bathroom. Roll-top bath with hand held shower, wash basin and WC. Outside: A pretty, enclosed private courtyard to the rear with table and chairs and a charcoal kettle barbecue. There's a garden bench in the small flower-filled front garden. A gateway gives access to the lane that runs to the car parking area at the top, where there is allocated parking for two cars. The lane and parking area is shared with the cottage next door.
