Take it easy at this unique and fun getaway just 5 minutes walking distance to Lake Michigan’s Whihala Beach and 25 minutes from downtown Chicago, IL in a small town known for one of the largest Pierogi Festivals in the US. There is so much to do in the surrounding area and we cannot wait to host you! The space The Standard is located on the first floor apartment of our recently renovated duplex. You will be able to enjoy your private apartment space throughout your stay. The back patio which has a grill, fire pit and seating to relax in is a shared space with The Refinery, located upstairs, and if other guests are staying at that time. Guest access You’ll be able to access your apartment and the back patio. Laundry is available upon request and is located in the basement. It is definitely it’s own experience (haha) and we are working on renovating that space eventually. Please let us know ahead of time if you need laundry access!
