Willow Cottage Newly renovated quaint cottage

Nestled away in the village of Youlgrave, in the heart of the Peak District National Park this newly renovated cottage is the perfect bolt hole for couples, friends and single travellers looking to get away from it all. It is a great place for walkers and cyclists with access to the Limestone Way, White Peak Way and the Alternative Pennine Way. There are three public houses which all serve home cooked food using local produce and there are two bakeries, a deli and post office. The space Willow cottage has been sympathetically renovated retaining its period charm. The south facing lounge boasts exposed beams, original ledge and brace doors, a stone fireplace with log burner (logs supplied) and stone mullion windows. The stable door allows the sun to stream in on those hot sunny days. The settee is the perfect lounging sofa matched with two foot stools. The TV is hidden within the original handmade cupboard and includes WIFI to keep you linked in. There is ample under stairs storage which contains a welcome pack for your furry friends. The herringbone floor flows through the lounge into the kitchen which is bespoke made and hand painted in Farrow & Ball pigeon. It features a quartz worktop finished with brass hardware and contains all the mod cons to service your needs. We supply coffee and teabags, coffee pods for the Nespresso Virtuo Next coffee machine,  hot chocolate sachets for the Hotel Chocolat Velvetiser, sugar sachets and milk.  The bedroom with its king size bed captures a glimpse of what the Dale has to offer and was designed with comfort in mind for the perfect night’s sleep.  The shower room comprises of an ample sized shower, washbasin and toilet. The cottage also comes with an outhouse great for extra storage such as pushbikes and contains a washing machine, tumble dryer and hosepipe/dog shower(cold water only) to wash those mucky paws. There are also extra logs for the log burner. Guest access You will have sole access to Willow Cottage and it’s outhouse with easy self-check in via a key safe. The access code will be provided nearer the time. Other things to note The cottage is situated just off the main road in a peaceful location and is within close proximity of Haddon Hall, Chatsworth House , Bakewell and Matlock Bath. Although there is no parking at the cottage there is vehicular access to load/unload. There is ample parking in the village with a free car park situated within a few minutes walk of the cottage. There is no garden at the cottage however the walks are right on your door step. To give the dogs a run out in between longer walks there is a grassed area and bin at Coldwell End Car Park which is a two minute walk away from the cottage. The cottage staircase is quite steep so may not be suitable for people with mobility issues.
