Our small house is an old barn renovated in a very charming way with respect for authenticity at the exit of the Village of Sentein, a peaceful hamlet where 2 rivers converge. The view is magnificent of the mountains (Pic du Maubermé 2880 m) and the hiking trails leave directly from the house (Chapel of the Izard, Pond of Araing). It's the perfect place to recharge your batteries with family or friends and explore the surrounding area. The space 88 sqm with one floor: On the ground floor: - Small kitchen equipped with all amenities (washing machine, dishwasher, oven, microwave, fridge, freezer). The basics are at your disposal (oil, salt, coffee, sugar...) - Beautiful stay with authentic soul with stone walls and exposed beams. - Restroom. Upstairs: - 1 bedroom fully renovated, with 140×190 beds. Bedding is new. - A refurbished bathroom with toilet. In front of the house, you will be greeted by a small enclosed garden with barbecue, and will be lulled by the runoff of the 2 streams (the Izard and the Lez) Other things to note This accommodation is non-smoking, check-in is autonomous (secure key box). No pets allowed. Fireplace that is not in working condition. About the village: Sentein is located in the Biros Valley in Ariège, Couserans region, 2 hours from Toulouse. - You are 30 minutes from St Girons with its large Saturday morning farmers' market. - Above St Girons, the charming village of St Lizier is steeped in history. - You are 30 minutes from beautiful Lake Bethmale with its turquoise blue waters. - Here you will find real corners of paradise, a huge territory where high mountains and green valleys share space. The commune of Sentein is part of the Ariégeoises Pyrenees Regional Natural Park and 3 sites are labeled Natura 2000 (Izard Valley, Maubermé and Crabère peaks).
