Nearby amenities include Hicks Lodge (National Cycle Centre), Conkers, Ashby Castle, Charnwood Forest Alpacas and Calke Abbey are a few! The space The accommodation is decorated to the highest standards with touches of luxury throughout, comprising of: triple bi-folds doors with blinds to the entrance from the courtyard/patio area which opens into the kitchen/living area where a comfortable three-seater sofa, footstool, and a large 55” TV reside. The kitchen contains a dining table for two people, fully functional fitted kitchen housing a hob, oven, toaster, coffee machine, dishwasher, fridge freezer and microwave together with most kitchen equipment. The generous double bed with luxury bed linen includes a fitted wardrobe and drawers, large chest of drawers, and two bedside cabinets with plugs on each side and a large 55” TV. Guest access The annexe is self contained for the exclusive use of guests. It sits within the main property but is locked at all times. A key safe code will be given prior to your arrival. Other things to note Frost Cottage was built in 1785 and was originally six farm cottages housing farmworkers for Prestop Park Farm (over and beyond the fields)! In 1980 Mr Frost bought all six cottages and converted them into one property and called it Frost Cottage! We moved to the property in 2010 and made extensive renovations with the Annexe being one of them! The Annexe is part of our main property where myself, Gary (my hubby) and our two Labradors, Darcey and Poppy live. Our dogs are friendly but may bark when you first arrive, you may see them wandering round too. If you don’t like dogs, please let me know and I’ll keep them in. Inside the Annexe bedroom there is a door which leads to our main property hallway, this will ALWAYS be locked from our side, you will not be able to access this doorway.
