Just a 5 min walk to the volcanic black sand beach and best waves in Guatemala, this modern & stylish guesthouse was thoughtfully designed by the homeowner, who is a well-known local chef. With a chilled & relaxing atmosphere you can escape the midday heat in the sparkling pool, work in peace and quiet with fast Wifi and AC, and prepare meals with local produce in the kitchenette. Welcome home. The space Casa Stella is located on a residential property, just steps from the mangroves and 300m to the beach. You will enjoy a queen bed with comfy linens, AC, pool, fast WiFi, hot water shower, bath & pool towels, shampoo/conditioner/body wash, a well-appointed kitchenette (stocked with coffee, tea, granola, pasta, extra virgin olive oil, rice and filtered water), private terrace and a private entry. There is plenty of lush, tropical outdoor space for lounging with a book, listening to the birds or sipping a fresh coconut from the garden. The entire property is shared only with the homeowner, who lives in the main house adjacent to the pool. Her two beloved cats, George and Larry, can often be found napping in the garden or lounging poolside. This is a real neighborhood in a tight-knit community, so respect for the area and in regards to noise is very important.
