Bird's Eye View Waterfront Unit

Bird’s Eye View is a private waterfront apartment occupying the entire third floor of our historic house in the Weekapaug area of Westerly. The property sits at the end of Winnapaug Pond, one of the area’s most stunning salt ponds and home to a rich variety of local and migrating wildlife, particularly aquatic birds. Our property is a 15 minute walk to the oceanfront and short drive to downtown Westerly, a vibrant hub with eclectic dining, small boutiques, live music and cultural events. The space The apartment is a newly renovated space and has a modern inviting feel. The unit includes a bedroom with a queen-size bed and armoire, a living room with lounge chairs and a single daybed, a combined kitchen and dining area with an induction cooktop and quartz counters, and a full bathroom with a frameless glass shower. The unit is equipped with central air conditioning and heating to keep you comfortable in any season. The living area is well appointed with a Bose Sounddock, a collection of our favorite paperbacks, games, and a LED Smart TV ready for your Netflix login. The kitchen is properly equipped with a full refrigerator, induction cooktop, toaster oven, cookware, utensils, a Nespresso machine, a french press, a pour-over coffee setup, basic spices and condiments. The bathroom offers organic cotton bath towels, natural soap, shampoo and conditioner. For your outings, we also provide beach towels, a small cooler, beach chairs and a beach umbrella. The ground level terrace is setup with lounge chairs, a SoloStove, kindling, firewood, and a fire starter. There is also a bocce court adjacent to the terrace. You are welcome to play during your stay. Guest access The access to the property is via a shared driveway. The apartment has a dedicated parking area for up to two vehicles, opposite our parking area. There is a ground-level terrace overlooking the water with a SoloStove designated to your private use. From there the apartment is accessed via a two-story exterior spiral staircase and one-flight of interior stairs. The stairs are on the steeper side and can be challenging to navigate with large pieces of luggage. The climb pays off with refreshing ocean breezes and spectacular views of the adjacent salt pond and Misquamicut Beach in the distance! Other things to note Beach Access Our property is a 10-15 minute walk to the oceanfront. There are a number of private and public beaches in the area and we do provide a parking pass for one vehicle to Dunes Park private beach (during the summer season), a few minutes drive from the apartment.
