The Kaleidescope Suite is a cheerful 1st floor apartment in Captain Viv's Guesthouse and Emporium; a Victorian Sea Captain's home. Nestled in next to the Penobscot Marine Museum, Captain Viv's is on a quiet side street off of Route 1 in a quintessential Maine coastal village. It's a perfect location to explore all the midcoast has to offer. Only three blocks to the beach and one block to the village, Searsport has much to offer a visitor. The space The Kaleidoscope Suite is a self-contained private apartment attached to the back of a Victorian house which is used by the owner for an online vintage clothing business. The suite has a private backyard which is peaceful and very private. There are two Adirondack chairs and a picnic table as well as a gas grill and little clothesline for the guests to enjoy after a day at the beach. Additionally, across the street is a wildflower garden and field that the guests are encourage to enjoy. Sit under the shade tree and watch the birds at the feeders and in the field, or have your morning coffee at the table and chairs in the middle of the field. Flowers are always blooming at Captain Viv's whether in Kaleidoscope Suite yard, at the window boxes, or in the wildflower gardens across the street. Guest access There is a private driveway and yard for the guests as well as a wildflower garden and field across the street.
