Enjoy the breathtaking views of the Blue Ridge Mountains on this 26 acre Olde English Babydoll Sheep farm right from your window. Our farm is a haven of peace and serenity in a secluded but centrally located area just 18 miles northwest of Charlottesville. Wake up to delicious farm fresh breakfast from our eco-friendly farm. Take pictures of fluffy sheep and angora rabbits grazing on rolling hills. Hike our private trail. Breathe in the fresh mountain airs. Sleep in. Slow down. Relax. The space This listing comes with two sweet tiny cottages that can accommodate up to three guests. There is a queen bed in the main bedroom suite (cottage #2) and a single futon bed in cottage 1. Children and infants are always welcome. Please let us know if your group exceeds three guests. The first cottage is a sitting room/ office and bathroom. There is a twin futon that serves as an extra single bed. There are west facing and east facing windows so you can celebrate and enjoy both the sunset and sunrise each day. The cottage is furnished with a small library, a mini fridge, and a small antique cabinet. There are two tables and four chairs. We will bring breakfast and any other meals you order to this cottage. There is a full bathroom in first cottage with fresh towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Please note that the bathroom is connected to a septic system which contains living organisms that digest and process waste. Do not put harsh chemicals, antibacterial soaps, or grease down the drain or toilet. Do not flush paper towels, sanitary products, etc, basically anything that isn't toilet paper. Across the driveway is the second cottage which is the main bedroom with a queen size bed. We love the large floor to ceiling picture window which reveals our meditation pond and the Blue Ridge Mountains in the distance. There is a smaller dresser and a desk set against the window with the view of the garden and first cottage. Both cottages are light-filled with beautiful views of rolling hills, and mountains. Please note that there is only ONE BATHROOM located in the first cottage. Any additional guests in your group will need to share the bathroom in cottage 1. Cottage 1 has a full size futon, tables, chairs, and bathroom with a shower. Cottage 2 has a queen size bed, desk and chair. You have both cottages. This is a working farm. We live and work on this farm. While we respect your privacy, you may see us working outside, and our animals grazing in the fields, and by the cottages. Our focus has been designing a creative, inspiring, and functional space for our guests, while maintaining a sustainable agricultural operation. We have a zipline and a treehouse in the woods. Zipline use and tree house use are at your own risk. There is no kitchen. There is a small fridge in the first cottage. We will provide a farm breakfast on request free of charge. We have a seasonal menu of hot soup, salad and appetizers from our kitchen for light snacks/lunch/dinner. Please arrange meal request with host prior to stay. There are two country stores/delis within a 15 minutes drive, and many excellent restaurants in Charlottesville within a 30 minutes drive.
