A Condor Nest, by the river bank

This isn’t for the faint hearted ! To reach this cocoon of comfort, you’ll need to climb 6 floors through an old staircase, damaged by time, reminiscence of the Moulin Rouge… you’ll feel like Christian and Satine… Up there, under the roof of a beautiful Haussmann building, you’ll find a fully renovated studio. You’ll be sleeping on a calm mezzanine (full blackout option), whilst the living-room overlooks the Trocadéro gardens… Go on and open this window… she is there, almost touching distance :) The space The building is a beautiful Haussmann building from 1850 and is centrally located on the Seine river bank, facing the Eiffel Tower. The space is an old typical Parisian maid’s room that has been fully renovated in S1 2023. It is completely independent but accessible only by the back staircase (i.e. there is no elevator). The back staircase is typical of those you can find in Haussmann buildings. At the time, they were used by helpers working in the building. They usually have not been renovated for years. I find them very vintage but, be aware, you may find them old and dirty. The space is a studio of about 25 sq.m. with a mezzanine. In the studio, you will find: - a living-room with a sofa bed, a coffee table, an armchair - dining area with a dining table good for up to 4 - a kitchen corner with everything you need: fridge, oven, sink, cutlery, plates, pans… and an expresso machine of course :) - a bathroom with its own sink, mirror, shower, toilet, and a towel heater for your comfort - a walking closet space with wardrobes, drawers, as well as a washing machine to wash and dry clothes The bed is on the mezzanine, accessible by a staircase. The bed is a queen size bed of 1.6m x 2m. No noise and fully dark room. Guest access You have exclusive access to the whole space. Other things to note *** IMPORTANT: this space is not suitable for travellers with big luggages because of the 6 flights of stairs to climb *** There is a full time caretaker in the building (in Paris, we call them “concierge”) for your security but also if you need any assistance. They will assist you at check-in. They will give you the key when you arrive, show you the way to the room and the room itself. They can provide cleaning service at a cleaning fee of 20 euros per hour during your stay. They will assist you during check-out. Registration Details 7511615083343
