A Big Classic Cottage. Your Private Guest Quarters are in a separate building, up above the large main floor cottage that we share. This grand summer cottage was built in the 70's for family living, with a large great room, dining room, full kitchen & breakfast room, with views of the lake. A Big Outdoor Deck with dining table face the sunrise and a swim dock with ladder and slide into the lake., easy to go in & out for hours. All together = The classic Muskoka cottage experience. The space Each bedroom has a view of the water, and at night you can hear the forest in the back. Your private quarters and the main cottage are finished in fine wood panels... no drywall. The spacious main floor cottage is on several levels with big wrap around windows looking out onto the decks, the lawn and the lake. Muskoka Township is visible in the photos and is the north shore of our Big Bay. Guest access Your own private space is in the upper level building. Plus you have access to the entire cottage except my private quarters at the far end of the cottage... so you have full access to living room, dining room, kitchen, breakfast room, as well as the decks and the lawn and the swim dock, plus the lake and acres of woods behind the cottage. During your stay I make this place work for you. I can build you a bonfire in the firepit for a marshmallow roast or more, whenever the FIRE BAN is lifted. Also, for service above and beyond AirBnB, you can pay me to drive into town and fetch your beer, wine, & groceries... so you can stay by the lake and in vacation mode 24 / 7. Also, for a fee... I can captain our 40 HP motor boat with up to 5 passengers for - water-skiing... I enjoy teaching kids to waterski. - fishing tours... to my dad's secret spots - historical tour Severn River: day excursion thru Lock 43 - cliff jumping... hot afternoon at a sand beach & small cliffs - shuttle service Other things to note FUN Water activities typical to a Summer cottage are the main focus here... we supply - paddle boards + kayak - Fishing rods and inside: - board games & a dart board - movies via high speed Starlink For mooring your own boat, we have a separate uncovered dock away from the swim area. Our large lawn is great for playing croquet and badminton.
