Relax with the whole family at this place where tranquility is breathable. The space The house is distributed over three levels: - Entrance: to access it you have to climb six steps. Here we find a small hall, open kitchen and three rooms: • Room number 1: 1 bed of 2.00 x 2.00 and an extendable sofa of 1.40 x 1.90. • Room number 2: 1 bed of 1.80 x 2.00. • Room number 3: 1 bed of 1.60 x 2.00. The kitchen is fully equipped with stove, oven, microwave oven, refrigerator, coffee maker, kettle, washing machine, dishwasher,... which makes it perfect for both short and long stays. - First floor: Room number 4: A spacious room with 1 bed of 1.60 x 2.00 and an extendable couch of 1.50 x 1.90. It is a spacious room with a large eye-shaped window, two armchairs and low tables. Each room has its own bathroom, smart TV and window to the outside. The bathrooms on the ground floor have showers, and the one on the first floor has a bathtub. Each bathroom has a hairdryer. - Basement: a room for lunch, dinner, dancing and entertainment. Here you find benches attached to the wall and a wooden table for 8 people. A large 125-inch smart TV completes the set. The house is heated with gas through underfloor heating. There is a thermostat in each room so you can adjust the temperature of each room to your liking. Casa Sena has its own parking and free Wi-Fi throughout the house. You will also find books, magazines and games to make your stay more fun. Important: The maximum capacity of the house is 8 adults or 8 adults and 4 children. Location The house is located at the end of the village of Moieciu de Sus, on the Popii Valley. The location is quiet and secluded, surrounded by nature and very close to the Turcul river. Sena and Tiscuta chose a secluded place to build their house and take care of their family, in a quiet and natural place, and we want to maintain that lifestyle, so we don't accept loudspeakers or loud parties. Activities Casa Sena is part of a project that started in 2013 when Ioana, Nacho and their son Ignacio moved to Romania to start a new life in Moieciu de Sus. Ioana and Nacho, tourism professionals, started as managers of rural houses. After, they started working as tour guides, and the next step was to open their own travel agency, Hola Transylvania, to tour Romania and discover the wonders of this beautiful country. We currently do both guided cultural tours and hikes for both connoisseurs and families with children. You're welcome! The name of the house comes from its owner, Polixenia, whom the whole village knew and called her Sena. She and her husband Ioan (popularly known as Tiscuta) built the house themselves. In those days, wood was easier to find, so they could choose from the best trees in the area. The house had to be durable and they had to choose the best wood for their house. The material was so well chosen that the wooden beams are still in perfect condition. To prove this, we have maintained the original structure of the house and in each room we have left an original wall uncovered, so that you can see, feel and touch the aroma of ancient times. The children of Tiscuta and Sena left the house in the hands of Ioana, their niece. Ioana and her family renovated the house keeping the original structure but added all the modern comforts to make your stay in our house perfect. Other things to note Very accessible due to its central position and surrounded by touristical attractions, Moieciu de Sus can be used both as a base to make daily trips to Bran, Brașov, Fundata, Râșnov, Poiana Brașov, Zărnesti, but especially as a location for practicing rural tourism and spending free time in the middle of nature. Several attractions in the area: Bran Castle, Libearty Bear Sanctuary, Rasnov Fortress, Dino Park, Wolf Adventure Park Zarnesti, Brasov city center, Dambovicioara Cave, Prapastiile Zarnestilor canyon. Surrounded by the Bucegi mountains on one side and the Piatra Craiului massif on the other, the village of Moieciu de Sus offers an amazing mountain landscape. In the village there are marked routes for shorter and longer hikes and the possibility to hire guides for hikes and local trips. There are also several restaurants open all year round, a pizzeria, bars and terraces, as well as a few grocery stores, where you can buy basic products.
