Taibará - Nido del Bosque Cabin

If you want to fill your lungs with clean air, contemplate beautiful mountains, bathe in rivers of crystal clear waters, walk through the forest, share experiences with local inhabitants, connect with yourself and nature, we invite you to visit our Taibará nature reserve. Our purpose is to offer our visitors a tailor-made experiential ecotourism that inspires reflections, sensations and relationships with nature and with oneself. The space The Nido del Bosque cabin is located in the middle of the forest, where you can sleep with the birds singing. The room has a double bed of 1.80 m x 1.90 m, a private bathroom and a wooden deck with a hammock to observe the landscape. In Taibará you can enjoy other spaces, such as a mesh with a viewpoint to rest, a court to play badminton or volleyball, a restaurant area and a crystal clear river to walk and bathe. Guest access The Taibará Nature Reserve is located in San Rafael, one of the towns in eastern Antioquia, 110 km from Medellín, approximately 3 hours away. You can travel by private vehicle or take a bus from the North Terminal to San Rafael. After arriving in the town of San Rafael, take the road to the village of El Arenal, which is 6.5 km long, approximately 20 minutes. You can access it by private vehicle or take a motorcycle taxi from the village to the El Arenal village. Once at the meeting point, one of Taibará's guides will be waiting to start the walk to the Reserve, which lasts approximately 25-30 minutes (1.5 km).
