Our Pink house sits on a tree-lined street walking distance to downtown shopping, restaurants, Dalhousie, Public Gardens, Natural History Museum, Citadel Hill & Spring Garden Road. The Waterfront is just a 10 min cab ride away. Perfect for visitors, business travellers, or families — your ideal Halifax stay starts here! The space Spread out in this bright, lower-level suite within our home, featuring oversized windows that flood the space with natural light. Two bedrooms with queen beds and fresh linens, an open-concept living area, and everything you need for a comfortable stay. The kitchenette is well-equipped with a large island, full-size fridge, microwave, dishwasher, hot plate, and toaster oven. Unwind by the electric fireplace, stream your favourites on the Smart TV, and enjoy heated floors in winter and AC in summer. The modern bathroom features a barrier-free shower, and an apartment-size washer and dryer are available for your use. Guests have their own private entrance and can come and go freely. The lower level is connected to our living space above through an interior locked door — you'll have your own comfortable retreat while we're just upstairs. We share our home with Ziggy, a small Boston Terrier who loves the backyard and meeting new people. If you'd prefer she stay inside during your visit, just let us know — we're happy to accommodate. One driveway parking spot is available and must be arranged with your host ahead of arrival. Please park within the marked property lines out of courtesy to our neighbours. Two-hour street parking is available directly across the street during the day, and overnight street parking is permitted from 6:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Guest access The lower level of our home is dedicated entirely to guests — mudroom, living room, kitchenette, laundry, 3-piece bath, and two bedrooms, all yours for the duration of your stay. A smart lock on the private back entrance door lets you come and go as you please. Other things to note The kitchenette is fully stocked with a full-size fridge, dishwasher, sink, microwave, toaster oven, toaster, air fryer, and hot plate. Please use the microwave fan while cooking to vent smells outside and help keep the smoke detectors happy — they're sensitive and may trigger otherwise. As we live above, you may hear the occasional footstep overhead. If you're a light sleeper or have specific needs around noise, please let us know ahead of time and we'll do our best to accommodate you. A pack and play is available in the guest room closet. Please note there is no high chair, and the bathroom has a shower only. As there is natural overhead noise from our family above, this space may not be the best fit for young children who require a strict nap schedule or a dark, quiet sleep environment.
