With its location, you can enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, canoeing/kayaking, fishing, along the New River, nature walks and biking on the Blue Ridge PKWY. The cottage is stocked with many convenient amenities and also offers an area for outdoor dining with a charcoal grill and an open fire pit The space Guest are welcome to use anything in the property. Guest access Guest are able to access and enjoy the entire property. Other things to note The duplex located next to the cottage is also a short term rental, you may/may not encounter another guest. Both properties do provide privacy away from each other. The neighbors dogs “Chewy” and “Bocca” enjoy welcoming our guest and will hang around if you feed them. Both pups are harmless and super sweet they just really like the attention. NC mountains are used for fighter jet training, the NC mountains mimic the landscape of Afghanistan and other middle eastern countries. The valley in front of the cottage is a flight path. You will be able to experience the power of the jets as they fly low and maneuver through the hills.
