Welcome to the Blue Heron House in Jamaica Beach! Enjoy the beautiful full water views from two decks, or take the kayaks out in the canal from the new dock. The house is 1400 sqft. and comfortably sleeps 8. Huge master bedroom with en suite bath, spacious second bedroom, and a sleeping area with a bunk bed. 2.5 bathrooms. Fully-equipped kitchen, open-concept living/dining/kitchen. Pet friendly! We have bikes to explore the area and are minutes from the beach. Free WiFi and TV streaming. The Blue Heron has been recently fully renovated throughout. The beautiful kitchen has everything you need and is open to the living and dining areas. The master bedroom is large and has both a king bed and day bed. The en suite bathroom has a beautiful large shower. The second bedroom has a comfortable queen bed. The sleeping area with a bunk bed is between the master and living room and has doors to close off on both ends. The bunk bed is full-size on the bottom and twin on top. There is another full and half bath for guests to use. Outside we have two levels of decks to enjoy sweeping views of the canal and Galveston State Park. The brand new dock is a great place to fish, launch the kayaks or go for a swim in the canal. Guests will be able to access the house from the back upper deck via a touchpad lock. We will send the check-in instructions two days before the arrival date. Jamaica Beach is just 15 minutes away from Galveston’s Seawall and Galveston’s big attractions including Pleasure Pier, Moody Gardens, Schlitterbahn water park, the Strand, and many restaurants. The neighborhood is family-friendly with many year-round residents. It’s built along the canals of Galveston Bay, and it includes a park and community pool (guests pay a nominal fee), and the Gulf side beach is open to the public. Jamaica Beach is a beach town where cars and golf carts share the road. Parking for three cars is available in the driveway. Parking on the road is not permitted.
