Secluded meadow yurt, Southleigh Farm, Pensford

Get away from it all in our luxurious secluded yurt. Situated in a private 6 acre meadow, backed by 200 acres of ancient woodland the only neighbours you will encounter are the local wildlife! An adjacent cabin has a full sized kitchen & bathroom with hot running water, cooker & fridge-freezer. The outside area has a hot tub, fire pit, BBQ & seating area. The yurt has a king size bed, plus 2 pull out single beds. Additional camping space is available on request. Car parking is very close by. The space The meadow yurt is located off the beaten track in 6 acres of private meadow. You have the whole 6 acres all to yourself! The yurt has a comfortable king size bed with all seasons duvet and extra blankets. Two additional pull out single sofa beds can accommodate the kids too (or leave them at home!). A travel cot is available on request. A log burner is fitted to help keep you cosy on those cooler evenings. A bin full of wood is included for your stay and if you run out you can order more from us. An adjacent cabin has a fully-fitted kitchen equipped with small fridge with ice box, full sized gas cooker with 4 rings, a grill and oven; and a sink, kettle and toaster. The shower room has a full sized hot shower, reclaimed sink, and a state of the art compost toilet (you will barely notice the difference, honest). We provide towels and bathrobes too. The outdoor area is joyously peaceful. A hot tub will be ready to go on your arrival. There is also a fire pit and BBQ with wood and firelighters also provided. A picnic table and benches are there for your enjoyment of the space. You will find local OS Maps and binoculars for any walking and wildlife enthusiasts. You can leave the car a short walk (25m) from the yurt. You are completely secluded and there are no other buildings in sight so you have maximum privacy. Guest access The whole 6 acre meadow is yours to enjoy, including the yurt and cabin. There are no public footpaths in this field so your only neighbours will be the deer, badgers, foxes and owls visiting from the nearby woods. We kindly ask you not to wander around the rest of the farm area or our private spaces. You will have your own car parking space with no need to meet the host. The entrance to the meadow is through the hedge and you will see the yurt in front of you. You will be given a code to enter the cabin (no key required). Other things to note The yurt is for couples to enjoy a relaxing time together, or it can easily accommodate a family of 4 with the extra sofa beds. We can accommodate extra tents and camping space for families if required - just message for pricing. However, the farm is not suitable for stag or hen groups, and no amplified music is allowed on site. Extra bags of firewood can be purchased from us if required - just send us a message.
