Church View is perfectly positioned on the edge of a tranquil village, overlooking open fields with stunning views of the local church. The location is ideal for countryside walks and exploring the Cotswolds, with easy access to Broadway, Chipping Campden, Bourton-on-the-Water, Stratford-upon-Avon, and Cheltenham. This peaceful retreat sits in the heart of the Cotswolds, offering a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of city life - your own slice of countryside heaven. The space This private room features a king-size bed and en-suite shower room within a charming old cottage situated on the peaceful edge of the village. You'll enjoy a quiet and secure environment throughout your stay. The room includes tea and coffee making facilities, plus a Nespresso machine for premium coffee. Fresh milk, biscuits, and filtered water are provided as welcome amenities. For electric vehicle owners, we offer convenient EV charging facilities - simply let us know in advance if you'll need to use this service. An information pack in your room contains WiFi codes, local restaurant recommendations, and taxi contact details to help you make the most of your visit. Guest access We're usually available to welcome you personally and show you around upon arrival. However, if we're at work or out, you'll find a secure key box by the front door for convenient self-check-in. You'll have your own set of keys for complete freedom to come and go as you please. Access to your room is through the main house and up the stairs - your room is located at the rear of the property with lovely views overlooking the garden. During your stay We are generally home but we are also always available via Whatsup or a phone call away. Other things to note You'll be sharing our welcoming home with my husband and me. We work during the day and are typically home by 5pm, along with our adorable rescue cat, Kitty. The property features a charming garden at the rear of the house, while the front opens onto a large field that marks the beginning of beautiful public footpaths. A picnic bench in the field is yours to enjoy - perfect for an evening glass of wine or an outdoor meal. During summer months, my husband maintains the field and footpath edges with a ride-on mower, keeping everything neat and accessible for walkers. The field teems with wildlife, and you may be fortunate enough to spot rabbits, squirrels, hedgehogs, pheasants, foxes, deer, and barn owls. The haunting calls of barn owls often provide a magical soundtrack to peaceful evenings.
