The space Bee Happy is a 2 bedroom villa and has recently been renovated from top to bottom, it offers absolutely spectacular views of the Caribbean sea and the evening lights of the city from its 67 foot, comfortably furnished veranda, with a private plunge pool and outdoor shower. Bee Happy is on the ridge of the hill adjacent to the elegant 18th century Georgian Great House, two minutes by golf cart to the private beach and Golf course whilst being conveniently located, a short stroll from amenities, including the main communal swimming pool, tennis courts, fitness centre, Kid’s Club and shops. The architecture is modern Colonial in style, beautifully appointed, perfectly balancing Caribbean elegance and the laid back escape island life offers. The owner’s attention to detail in this villa is felt throughout and has Jamaican artisans’ work tastefully assigned. At the entrance is a priceless sugar boiler antique from the island’s capital, Kingston. You enter the home through beautifully crafted doors that open into the horizon. The living room space is relaxed and comfortable, an indoor family dining space is set beside the bar with a separate beverage centre and icemaker and meals are prepared out of the fully-equipped kitchen, to dine indoors or outdoors on the beautiful veranda, enjoying the magnificent view of the sea and countryside. The media centre boasts a SONOS system that can be controlled with the SONOS app in each room and bathroom for personal musical preference. The master bedroom is located in the west wing and has a king-sized bed and en-suite bathroom with double sinks, a soaking tub, and a walk-in shower. In the east wing, the guest bedroom has a king-size bed and can be converted to two twin beds on request and its own en-suite bathroom with shower. Each bedroom opens through double doors to its own balcony terrace with magnificent views. The colour elements throughout are soothing neutral tones. The home is accented with artwork from renowned local artists and photographers such as Owen Marsh, Robin Farquharson, David Pinto, Mark Bell and Marina Burnel, as well as whimsical carvings from local craftsmen. Custom cedar and teak furniture throughout the home was made by artisans from the parish of Trelawny. • THE RATES INCLUDE STAFF COMPLEMENT • The villa is staffed by full-service housekeeper Paulette, who won Best Housekeeper and Cook for 2019. Meals are prepared out of the fully-equipped kitchen and Paulette uses organically grown herbs from the home’s small herb garden that adds a fresh element to every dish. She provides maid, laundry, and breakfast service and of course knowledgeable insight to help you make the most of your stay! Evening meals can be prepared for an additional cost and not included in the rate is the food and drink, but shopping will be done for you.
