Beautiful, historic manoir in semi-rural setting

Manoir du Pont des Vaux has a heritage dating back to the 16th century. Located only 19 minutes walk from the center of Vire, the manoir enjoys a peaceful setting with large garden. We welcome you to our unique home, which has lots of history, character and plenty of space for friends and family. We are located centrally to the D-Day landing beaches with Bayeux and Caen to the north west, St Malo and Mont Saint Michel to the west, Rouen and Honfleur to the north east and Le Mans to the south. The space We can accommodate up to 10 people. We have single, double, king size and super-king size rooms, as well as a fold down bed in the office / library. We also have a single fold down bed which could be added to the 'Silver room'. The king size and super-king size bedrooms are ensuite. The single and double rooms share a shower room and toilet. We have a large kitchen and smaller kitchenette, two dining rooms, two living rooms and an office, so there is plenty of space for everyone. We also have a separate toilet and sink. Outside, the house sits in an acre of land, backing onto La Virene river. There is a terrace which houses 2 sun loungers, a dining area and separate seating area. We also have a swing chair that hangs from our beautiful lime tree. You will be able to access the entire middle floor. The ground floor is basement and is used for storage. The top floor is attic and also used for storage. Therefore, you have the house to yourself. We have plenty of parking and a great outdoor space for relaxing, sunbathing or dining. Guest access You will have access to the entire middle floor of the house. The attic and the basement are not accessible. Other things to note We have gates and cameras to keep the property secure. On arrival, you drive through, closing the gates behind you. Drive down the driveway and turn right into the car park. Our front door (which is up the main staircase) can be opened and closed with a coded keypad. This code is provided on the day of arriving at the property. Security cameras are located at each corner of the building, and we have a camera in the hallway which faces the front door. We also have ring door bells with cameras for your added security.
