Wake up to a beautiful sunrise over the Caribbean Sea and finish your day relaxing in the pool or on the spacious deck with a refreshing Caribbean cocktail. This brand new villa is located in a secure neighborhood. We are a 12-15 minute walk to alluring West Bay beach, which is a great beach for snorkeling, has great restaurants and night life. Whether you are here to relax, scuba dive on the Mesoamerican reef, or snorkel, day or night, this location will offer you No Bad Days. We are located on the south shore; you will feel like you are in a private neighborhood yet you are only a short 12 minute walk to one of the best beaches in Roatan. The beach has great restaurants, night life, snorkeling, a small grocery store and water taxis to other parts of the island. This brand new villa has an elevated rustic style. There are abundant windows (even the bedrooms have 4 windows), so the views of the sea and surrounding tropical trees are quite special. All the natural light and 20 foot wood ceilings provide a feeling of casual splendor. The floors in the main living area are Honduran pine and the bathrooms with walk in showers are tile; the vanity tops are granite and the curb-less showers are tiled all the way up to the wood vaulted ceilings which provides a spa feeling. The kitchen has a bounteous granite island that seats seven. The cook will never feel left out in this space since it's a totally open concept. The kitchen is fully stocked and with over 18 linear feet of granite counter space, everyone can have their own work space when preparing a group dinner. The 320 square foot deck faces the Caribbean sea and has views of the mountains in mainland Honduras and has a custom made dining table that seats 8; a perfect opportunity to enjoy the tepid temperatures and watch the cruise ships depart for the next port. All the beds are memory foam and lifted so you can store your suitcases underneath and keep them out of the way. There are three TV's; a 65 inch smart TV in the main living area and each bedroom has a 43 inch mounted TV. There are AC's in all living spaces including the loft that sleeps 4. No Bad Days Villa accommodates eight people comfortably; two king suites and king in the loft along with two twins. This home includes a water purification system, high speed internet, cable TV, Bull Dog security, AC's in all rooms including the loft, tankless hot water heaters, and a pool (shared with the villa below). You will have the upper villa in this two unit home. The pool is shared with the villa below but you have your own deck space up top to enjoy the views, have dinner or just chill. Guests are responsible for their electricity usage in your villa. See note below on typical consumption rates; it's under house rules which are visible after you book. I may or may not be on the island but in the "everything to know about Roatan" guest sheet there are phone numbers of English speaking professionals that can ensure you have a superb stay in the villa and the island. This is a very safe and neighborhood. There are several speed bumps so no one drives fast. There is new home building construction down the road so you will hear some trucks and construction noises until 5:00 pm. After that the neighborhood is quiet. The view of the Caribbean Sea is spectacular. If you are an early riser, wake up to a brilliant sunrise with a perfect view out of the premier bedroom. On a calm day, you can walk 3 minutes to a pier (it's not a beach) that you can use to enter the sea for snorkeling along the iron shore wall. Or a 12–15-minute walk to West Bay beach for snorkeling, diving, dining, swimming, or just relaxing by the Caribbean Sea. There is a nice walking loop that a lot of visitors and locals take advantage of. It's about 3 miles and goes along the neighborhood road and the beach. It can be extended to 5 miles round trip by adding an extra mile on the beach. Guests are responsible for the electricity. The electricity is very expensive on the island and runs about .40$ Kilowatt. You will be billed at the end of your stay.
