When you book Essington Park, the entire estate is exclusively yours to enjoy. The beautifully restored Shearers’ Quarters sleeps up to 10 guests across five bedrooms, offering the perfect setting for gatherings with family or friends, creative retreats, celebrations, or simply a peaceful country escape. It is also perfect for group getaways, retreats, family celebrations and intimate country weddings (with prior approval). Spend slow mornings overlooking the countryside, long evenings sharing meals together, and unforgettable nights gathered around the incredible fire pit beneath the star-filled country sky. ⸻ The Shearers’ Quarters The accommodation reflects the historic layout of traditional shearers’ quarters while offering modern comfort and thoughtful details throughout. The property includes five bedrooms: • Bedroom 2 and Bedroom 3 feature private ensuites • Bedrooms 1, 4 and 5 use two beautiful standalone bathrooms located just a short garden path from the verandah All beds are dressed with luxury linens, wool blankets and soft bedding, with heaters, electric blankets and hot water bottles provided for crisp Oberon evenings. ⸻ Luxurious Bathrooms Essington Park offers four bathrooms in total. Two bedrooms include private ensuites, while the remaining bedrooms use two spacious standalone bathrooms located just steps from the quarters. These beautifully designed bathrooms feature: • Deep clawfoot bathtubs, shower overhead • Plush towels and quality amenities • Peaceful views across the surrounding countryside ⸻ The Heart of Essington Park – Kitchen & Dining The kitchen is the heart of the property — once the place where shearers gathered after long days of work. Today it remains a warm and welcoming space centred around a large farmhouse dining table that seats ten, perfect for shared meals and long conversations. Guests will find: • A fully equipped chef’s kitchen with Falcon stove • Quality cookware and utensils • Freshly ground coffee and premium teas • Local olive oil • House-made sourdough and homemade preserves • A generous breakfast basket ⸻ A Special Dining Experience Subject to availability, guests may also have the opportunity to enjoy a private dining experience prepared by renowned cook and food writer Simmone Logue. Simmone can create a beautiful seasonal meal for guests to enjoy together at Essington Park, using the best local produce and ingredients from the garden wherever possible. This special experience must be arranged in advance and is subject to availability, so please enquire when planning your stay if you would like to include this during your visit. ⸻ Sitting Room The sitting room is the perfect place to relax beside the original fireplace, especially during the cooler months when the wood fire is burning.
