This cosy retreat invites you to make yourself feel at home The space Harbour Comfort welcomes you to a private retreat where cozy living meets modern comfort. The highlight of this secluded guest suite is the newly added lounge, complete with a combustion fireplace — the ideal spot to unwind with a book, share a glass of wine, or simply relax in warmth on cooler evenings. This intimate haven, tucked away at the rear of our home, is thoughtfully designed for both relaxation and convenience, with an UPS system ensuring uninterrupted WiFi during load shedding. Inside, you’ll enjoy: A queen-size bed with Egyptian cotton linens, bedside plug points, and a 55-inch smart TV. An ensuite bathroom with a shower-over-bath, plus a rustic outdoor shower for a refreshing touch. A separate space, partially enclosed, creates a 2nd bedroom with two single extra length beds. A full kitchen complete with a gas stove and Nespresso pod machine (bring your own pods) Adjacent to Harbour Comfort is our smaller unit, Harbour Delight. Together they form a charming duo, sharing a quaint courtyard that’s thoughtfully divided by a screen for added privacy and enjoyment. Set in a peaceful neighborhood, our location is just 5 minutes from the beach, shops, and hospital, and about 25 km from both the city center and Cape Town International Airport. (Please allow extra time for travel during peak traffic hours.) Whether it’s basking in the glow of the fireplace, preparing a meal in the kitchen, or simply soaking up the serene surroundings, Harbour Comfort is your home away from home. Guest access Your parking options include either on the left side of our driveway or curbside adjacent to it. Upon your arrival, either my husband, Kevin, or I will be there to greet you. Access to your accommodation is via the side gate, where you'll pass by the kitchen side of our home. Around the corner, your cozy space awaits, complete with access to the shared courtyard. Other things to note We reside on a tranquil street, where the occasional sounds of our two small dogs may greet you from afar. Your safety, relaxation, and comfort are our top priorities throughout your stay. Please note that smoking or vaping is prohibited within the unit, and we maintain a strict no-drug policy, including marijuana, on the premises. Additionally, we kindly ask that no unregistered guests or visitors be brought onto the property. All guests must provide a copy of their ID/passport to me prior to checking in. Stays longer than 10 days, guests are required to pay for a once a week cleaning of R250, payable on the day. This is compulsory to ensure good standing of the unit.
