Historic McKinney Morgan House

The charming McKinney Morgan House is located in the heart of Nacogdoches. This beauty is the perfect haven for anyone looking for an elegant, comfortable and worry-free stay as you enjoy all the oldest town in Texas! It is a pet friendly (with a fee), 3-bed, 2-bath with a fully equipped kitchen, laundry room, workspace, and modern amenities. A guest house is available (additional fee). A quick walk to downtown or SFA, the McKinney Morgan will be the answer to your home away from home. The space The McKinney Morgan House comfortably sleeps eight people with a king bedroom, queen bedroom, a den with two trundle beds, and a queen size pull-out couch. Each bedroom has high-end, luxurious bedding/linens, portable fans and luggage racks. The bathrooms are updated, and the modernized shower is noteworthy. We also have a laundry room available upon request in the separate garage. There is a guest house for four available for an additional fee, please inquire. Please note there are steps inside and outside the home, but only a few in succession. In the main house, the spacious living rooms provide ample seating, fireplaces, blankets to curl up on the couches, and games and/or books for an easy night in. Several flat screen TVs are available throughout and a PlayStation and Wii are available in the den. The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, a full complement of dinnerware, flatware, glassware, wine glasses, serving pieces, cooking utensils and baking dishes in the cabinets. And after delicious time spent in the kitchen, the central dining room is spacious enough for an elegant yet comfortable gathering with friends and family. You also have access to a coffee bar with a traditional coffee maker, Keurig, and French press. We have locally ground coffee and tea bags available to ensure you have your caffeine fix! The McKinney Morgan house is equipped with Wi-Fi, so you will not miss a beat if work is what brings you to Nacogdoches. A desk with monitor and ample space for working is available in the front bedroom. The courtyard is a peaceful retreat for your beverage of choice in the mornings or evenings after a fun day in East Texas. And if you prefer the front porch, comfortable rockers await. Enjoy the gas burning fire pit on the patio, and grab steaks for the grill provided. Guest access Park behind the house, where we have several parking spaces for you to utilize. There is a garage on-site, but it will remain locked during your stay, we appreciate your understanding! The McKinney Morgan House is equipped with self check-in for your convenience. To enter the house, the back door (near patio and courtyard) is equipped with keyless locks. The entry code is messaged to you prior to your arrival. The entry codes will be how you access and lock the house during your entire stay. We do have five security cameras monitoring outside doors and garage of the home. Other things to note The McKinney Morgan House is centrally located within walking distance to Main Street and Stephen F. Austin State University. The house is also steps away from Lanana Creek Trail in Pecan Acres Park.
