Welcome to The Station House, a piece of Sewickley history! This 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom home was the former Glen Osborne train station and still features beautiful original detailing and woodwork. We've updated it with modern amenities to make it the perfect way to experience our history-filled town of Sewickley. **NOTE: This house is located near a busy road, and you will likely hear road traffic during rush hour** Downtown Pittsburgh: 20 min drive PIT Intl Airport: 15 min drive The first floor is equipped with a large, modern kitchen, formal dining room, and living room. Upstairs on the second floor, there are three large bedrooms and one spacious bathroom. House highlights include a fully-stocked coffee and tea station, WiFi, house Netflix account, fully-stocked bathroom, and a large backyard. Guests have full, private access of the property. We're available 24/7 to make your stay as amazing as possible! Let us know if you have any specific requests and we'll do our best to accommodate them. Sewickley is a unique, wonderful neighborhood with a small town charm -- so much so that you'll often catch glimpses of the Village in Hallmark movies! A truly walkable, highly social and exceedingly friendly place -- residents enjoy walking their dogs, playing platform tennis (we call it "paddle") or pickleball (or tennis or squash), paddleboarding on the Ohio River, mountain biking, and so much more! Totally walkable -- grab a coffee at one of our many cafes and head up the hill for a hike on the scenic War Memorial Park trail, or try a stroll through the Sewickley Cemetary, one of the most bucolic places in Pittsburgh. If you need to get around, Uber and Lyft are quite accessible. Neighborhood The home is located on a quiet street and has enough property around it that it is quite quiet. We do want to note that given it's an old train station, it is near the train and Route 65 and can be noisy if you aren't used to it. We provide ear plugs and noise machines in every bedroom, though! Kitchen Nicely equipped with essential pots, pans, appliances, and utensils. We proudly offer Nespresso coffees and Harney & Sons teas in our caffeination station. There is a toaster and microwave. Bathrooms - Shower stocked with Public Goods shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion, as well as extra towels. Forgot toiletries? There is a Rite-Aid located right up the street. Bedrooms - Each bedroom has a comfortable mattress with comfortable linens and down bedding. Work Space - There are several spaces in the home that are suited to remote work. The house is equipped with high speed WiFi. Laundry - There is a washer and dryer located on the first floor. We provide laundry detergent. TV - All TVs are "smart" and are setup with the house Netflix account. Other - Board games located on the bookshelf. Have fun!
