Blue Ridge Mountain Cabin overlooking a Creek

Kick back and relax at this cozy cabin nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains of NC. Unwind on the wrap around deck or the covered patio and enjoy the waterfall sounds from the stream running through the property. Located just minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway, 20 minutes to downtown West Jefferson and 40 minutes to Boone. This pet friendly cabin has been recently renovated and is located in a quiet, private community so if you're looking for a peaceful getaway this is your place! The space This cozy cabin is around 700 square feet of living space, it has a large wrap around deck off the main level and a patio with a large deck on the ground level. The interior has an open layout, the kitchen, dining table and living room are all in one space and is comfortable for a small group. There is one bedroom with a queen bed and a closet. There is an additional queen bed in the loft area. The couch in the living room is also a day bed with a pull-out trundle, both mattresses are twin size. Pillows and linens for all beds will be provided. The main level has a full bathroom and there is another full bathroom in the basement/laundry room which is only accessible from the patio. Basic amenities will be provided in the bathrooms (towels, shampoo and conditioner, body wash, toilet paper, hair dryer). The kitchen has a full-size fridge, a microwave, oven and stove. Plates, cups, utensils and most basic cooking supplies are available for use. Coffee maker and coffee bar will have enough coffee and supplies provided to at least get you through your first morning. There is not a dishwasher but all supplies for hand washing dishes are provided, the dish drying rack is located under the sink. Guest access There are 2 lock boxes on the property with entry keys. One is by the front door, and one is by the basement door, the code will be provided shortly before check in time. There will be a key that allows access to the front and back door, and an additional key with access to the ground level/basement door located off the patio. Other things to note Additional information based on the most frequently asked questions: There is NOT a hot tub on the property. There is not central AC, there is a mini split unit in the living room which does an excellent job of keeping the space cool. There is also standalone AC unit in the loft bedroom and one the lower bedroom. We are pet friendly and there is an additional fee of $50 per stay and a maximum of 2 pets. If any damage to the property happens during your stay a request for reimbursement will be submitted.
