Other things to note ✨ Flooring & Comfort The Timber Oasis features polished concrete floors throughout. While we have integrated radiant floor heating to keep the cottage a cozy temperature, the surface is quite firm underfoot. For your maximum comfort, we recommend bringing your favourite slippers or moccasins to provide some extra comfort as you move through the space. 🔥 The Firewood Experience On chilly evenings, cozy up by the fire with our optional Unlimited Firewood Package for $20/night. This includes seasoned hardwood for both the indoor wood stove and the outdoor fire pit, plus starters and kindling to keep things hassle-free. You bring the main ingredients; we’ve taken care of the rest. ❄️ Winter Travel The Ottawa Valley is beautiful but unpredictable. While our road and driveway are professionally plowed, we recommend AWD/4WD or winter tires for guests visiting between December and March to navigate the rolling hills safely.
