Our Airbnb is completely self contained with a kitchen equiped with microwave oven, rice cooker, toaster and air fryer for your use. It has a deck on which you can sit and enjoy the fresh clean air and catch glimpses of the city and the River Derwent and Eastern shore beyond. We’re 30 minutes from Hobart Airport, accessible by a frequent bus service to the city, Uber, Taxi or hire car. Its a 26 minute downhill walk into city centre, a longer slower uphill walk back. The space We are close to all things for which Hobart is renowned, the waterfront, MONA, the Maritime museum, Mt Wellington, Cascade Brewery and Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary just to name a few, and we are only 1 hour from 3 of Tasmanias beautiful National parks. There are any number of fantastic restaurants nearby and further afield lots of vineyards and wineries and whisky and gin distilleries for tastings in very pleasant surroundings. Port Arthur is 90 minutes away but this is very much a full day trip as there is so much to see along the way. Guest access Our Airbnb is accessed from the street via a short, moderately steep driveway. It is fully fitted with all conveniences and has its own separate entry, living room and kitchen, bedroom and ensuite. It's not huge but it's convenient and comfortable. Parking on the street in front is on the level and free if charge 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Other things to note Our small dog (she’s a Miniature Schnauzer called Esther) may bark when you come to the door however she will quieten down once she meets you.
