Coraline’s Cozy Cottage (for families)

Tucked in the heart of Coeur d’Alene is a crooked little cottage where art blooms, and magic lingers in the corners. This isn’t a palace, it’s a patchwork home stitched together by an artist and her family. A place of creativity, mess making and feeling comfortable. It’s cozy, lived-in, and enchantingly imperfect. This is a home best suited for travelers with a touch of whimsy in their hearts. Please review all photos before booking, we are not basic like a chain hotel, more like a crazy uncle. The space This house is full of color inside and out. It’s not perfect, but it is playful, cheerful, and made for making memories. 🛏 Sleeping Spaces: The kids’ room features a queen bed, twin bed, and a 42” smart TV. The primary bedroom also has a queen bed and its own 42” smart TV. There is a pull out queen couch bed in the basement as well as a pull out king bed. 🧸 For the Little Ones: We have a play room downstairs to help your kids get some energy out. 🚗 Parking: We have a long, private driveway. Our beloved Skoolie (school bus conversion) lives there too, but there’s still room for two guest vehicles to park comfortably. 🌿 Backyard Bliss: The fenced backyard is semi-private and great for relaxing. It includes: • A patio with a picnic table • A propane grill • A cozy fire pit ✨ We’ve set up this home to be a fun, cozy space for families, especially those with kids. It’s colorful, quirky, and designed with your little adventurers in mind, while still offering comfort and ease for the grown-ups. Guest access 🌳 Outdoor Space & Smoking Area In the backyard, you’ll find a charming brick patio beneath a giant maple tree, complete with a fire pit and chairs. This is the designated smoking area—please keep all smoking outdoors. 🚗 Parking Info • The driveway fits two cars. It’s a little snug near the back porch. • There’s also space for two more cars to park comfortably in front of the house. 🏡 What’s Yours You’ll have exclusive access to the entire house and back yard during your stay. 🔒 Off-Limits Areas The garage and outdoor shed are not available for guest use. ✨ A Note About the Exterior We’re currently updating the siding on the outside of the home. It’s purely cosmetic and won’t affect your stay. We’ve poured love and energy into remodeling over the past few years—and we’re excited to finally share our colorful, creative little space with the world! Other things to note Our house has a lot to offer. A lot of nice TVs all with Amazon, Max, and Netflix logged in and toys for all different ages. Honestly we hope your kids have more fun here than you. There is a lot that is walking distance. Downtown is about a mile but it’s a nice walk if your a walker, Safeway and Albertsons are closer then the lake but, the closest grocery is Trader Joe’s and Pilgrims health food store! We have the best brunch place in town AND best sushi place in town AND a brewery all within a couple blocks of us. (Daft Badger brewery and Syringa) and If you don’t want to leave than there are a lot of choices on Uber eats. Also, if you like to cook we are close to Trader Joe’s, Albertsons, Safeway, and Pilgrims Market. We are set up pretty good for cooking, we have all the normal kitchen stuff, plus a soda stream, and a Keurig coffee maker. Please clean and put back any of the items used once you’re done thank you!
