Guest access The front and back yard are all yours to enjoy. Please enjoy the house & make yourself at home in this cozy environment 💕 Please respect our property during your stay & if anything is not working or is damaged during your stay, please text or call us so we can repair or replace anything. The hot tub is seasonal. Once the weather reaches 85+, it’s too hot to enjoy the hot tub. It will likely be unavailable from June 1st to Sept 1st. Please inquire before booking if this is the sole reason you are booking our home. No refunds or cancellations if the hot tub is unavailable during these seasonally hot summer months. Do not open the back gate to pull your car inside the back yard. It will ruin the yard and there are no guarantees you can get it back. You will not have access to the closet in the bathroom, it’s full of home cleaning supplies and extra linens needed for other stays. Please do not try to access this. If you need laundry essentials, we do not provide these during your stay. You may launder the towels while you’re here but please bring your own laundering products. Other things to note Hot tub: The hot tub has a self assist cover lifter, it works best when flipped open over the bar when the bar is folded down, a person gets in the hot tub and then pushed up from the inside. Please close it after each use, this keeps falling debris like leaves out of the hot tub & not clogging the filter. The heater will turn off or overheat due to debris clogging it up. *This would also incur and fee to fix. ** Closed during summer months. It’s too hot to enjoy the hot tub in NC from June 1st to Sept 1st. If you’re booking this home during that time solely to enjoy our hot tub, please reach out before booking because it will likely be unavailable during this time period. Security Notice: For safety and property monitoring, the hot tub area is under 24/7 video surveillance. By using the hot tub, you acknowledge and consent to being recorded while in this area. Pizza Oven/Fireplace: Please bring your own wood to use this fireplace. The grocery store Carlie C’s, right off the highway 40 exit 147, always sells firewood out front. No cigarette butts or trash in this area please, this can be used to prepare food. Keep it clean or avoid using it. Propane Grill: We do provide gas for your personal use of the grill. *If you decide to have more than just the guests staying at the home, such as a party or a gathering with others not staying in the home, please bring your own propane. If you find the grill without propane when you arrive or before you leave, please reach out to me so I can provide a refill for your stay. Pets: Please pick up yard waste after your pet during your stay. We provide dog bags for this. We also appreciate it if you can use the pet blanket to cover up comforters or fabric chairs if you must have your pet up with you. This prevents pet smells in furniture & linens and ensures not muddy paw prints damage fabrics. There are also black towels by the front door for muddy paws if you happen to come on a rainy day. Extra beds & play pen: Please put back the blow up mattress bed or the unzippable Beanbag bed- as you found them. We store these in the closet, nicely packed or folded away. The large bean bag can be unzipped for use as a bed, so please zip it back up as you found it. *If an item gets stained or damaged, please let us know and do not pack it away. Let us know so we are able to fix it before the next guest arrives.
