Zao Gen w/Open-air onsen - Zao Sansuien

This is a new cottage built in 2022. Entering the chic house with black exterior walls, the stone hallway leading to the high ceiling living room will make you forget your everyday life. The outdoor bath is surrounded by trees, and in winter you can enjoy a relaxing snow view bath.
 Enjoy private theater in the living room and bedroom with a 100-inch projector screen.
Displays and desks are also available for your workspace. The space *Please read and abide by the "Property Rules and Restrictions" when making reservations and while staying at the property. ■About the Rooms Zao Gen is a one-story rental villa with a natural hot spring. ・LDK (living room, dining room and kitchen) ・Wood deck ・Two Western-style rooms (2 single beds x 2 rooms) ・lounge (e.g. after taking a bath) ・Bathrooms (open-air: hot spring / indoor: not hot spring) ・Toilet (with hot-water washing toilet seat) □The Kitchen The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove, rice cooker, microwave, toaster, refrigerator and other appliances, as well as basic cooking utensils such as pots, pans, knives and cutting boards. Dinnerware is also provided. Food and condiments are not provided. Please bring your own. [To our guests] No hot plates, etc. are allowed. Please cook in the kitchen only. Please be careful not to leave any odors or oil stains. Please clean all utensils and dishes used in the kitchen and return them to their original places. If you break a dish, please report it to the Zao Sansuien Management Office or the Visitor Station. To support tourism recovery in Miyagi Prefecture, an accommodation tax of 300 yen per person per night will be charged. Please note that this tax must be paid separately at the time of check-in. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation. □The Baths There are two baths, an outdoor bath and an indoor bath. In the outdoor bath, you can enjoy hot spring water. (*The indoor bath is not a hot spring) □Television There is no TV available. There is a large-screen high-precision ultra-short-throw projector (100" 4K) and a large-screen ceiling-lit projector (100"), but TV (including BS/CS) is not available. □Air Conditioning Air conditioners are installed in the living room/dining room and two bedrooms. There is also a gas heater and a wood stove (wood stove can be used from November to April). □Wi-Fi Wi-Fi is available free of charge. ■About Accommodation Zao Gen" is a private rental villa for a maximum of 4 people. Meals are not included in the price. The same rate for up to 2 guests. There is an additional charge for each additional guest after the third guest. □About Child Rates We do not have a children's rate, but children over 2 years old are charged the same rate as adults. Children under 2 years old can stay for free, but no bedding or towels are provided. □Room Amenities Bottles containing shampoo, conditioner, and body soap are available in the bathroom. Towels and toothbrushes will be placed in your room upon arrival. One towel is provided for every two nights. (e.g. 1 towel for 1~2 nights, 2 towels for 3~4 nights, 3 towels for 5~6 nights...) ・Bath Towel: 1 per person ・Towel: 1 towel per person ・Toothbrush: 1 per person *Towels provided are strictly not to be taken home. *If you need more towels, please use bath towel rental (330 yen/piece) or face towel sale (220 yen/piece) (available at the check-in location from 9:00~20:00). Please bring the following items from the check-in location upon check-in or between 7:30~19:00 as needed (we do not deliver to your room). ・Shaving razor ・Cotton swab ・Body towel ・Hair brush ■About check-in Please check in between 15:00 and 20:00. Check-in after 20:00 is possible, but please note that there are times when we cannot accept check-ins. □Check-in location The check-in location will vary depending on your arrival time. We will inform you of the details after your reservation is confirmed. 3 pm~8 pm：visitor station After 8 pm： Zao Sansuien Management Office Zao Gen is located in Zao Sansuien, a villa management area, there is a gate at the entrance of Zao Sansuien and guests are required to open the gate with the remote control key given to them upon check-in. Guests are not allowed to enter Zao Gen directly without going through the gate. Zao Gen is about a 6 minute drive from the main gate. There is no shuttle or taxi service from the check-in locations to Zao Gen. Please come by car. ■Barbecue Facilities The use of fire, including barbecues and fireworks, is not allowed at Zao Sansuien. Barbecuing on the wooden deck is also prohibited. If you wish to barbecue, please use the barbecue facility "Wild Zao Village" which is located 1 minute drive from the entrance gate of Zao Sansuien. Please contact us by message after your reservation is confirmed. We will provide you with more details. Other things to note The area around this cabin is densely populated. There are many permanent residents in the area, so please be especially careful not to talk outside at night. If neighbors complain, we may ask you to leave immediately.
