Honey Moon Farm Stay

Stay on a beautiful small farm in the country, just minutes from Deep Creek Lake, surrounded by plants, flowers, animals and relaxing nature vibes. This is a stand-alone cottage/cabin. Private and secluded enough from the hustle and bustle of the Lake, but just a five-minute drive to restaurants, the Wisp Ski Resort and all other attractions the lake has to offer. The space This little house is on a working farm, with another neighboring farm next door. You may experience some of the sights and sounds of farm life (think roosters crowing or tractors passing), but it is very private and generally very quiet and peaceful. The owner's house is next to the guest house, and we will share a driveway, so you may see us coming or going (or out working). The house was built in 1860 but is newly renovated, giving it an old-time charm with a modern look. The second bed that sleeps two is a very comfy futon that easily adjusts between a couch and bed. There is a door on the bedroom, making both sleeping spaces private. The bedroom has plenty of space for a pack n play or crib if you have a little one joining you. Guest access If you would like a farm tour during your stay, please let us know. Guests can also pay extra for farm fresh eggs from our chickens, or for vegetables to cook yourself. Please message us if interested in enjoying farm products during your stay! The property is surrounded on two sides with an electrified fence, so we ask guests to be aware of their surroundings if they are walking about the property.
