Welcome to our accommodation on Resarö in the Stockholm Archipelago. A perfect place for those looking for an idyllic and peaceful place close to swimming, outdoor activities, the archipelago and Stockholm. The space The small accommodation is bright and fresh with everything that might be needed for a comfortable stay. In the large room, there is a double bed (180 cm), a sofa and a small kitchen with dining area. The kitchen is fully equipped with porcelain and kitchen utensils, refrigerator, stove with two burners, microwave, Nespresso coffee maker and press coffee maker and dishwasher. In the bathroom there is a toilet, sink and shower. Guest access The accommodation is located on top of our garage which is in a separate building but adjacent to the house where we live. The entrance is next to the garage doors and from there a staircase goes directly up to the accommodation. Outside the entrance, there is a seating area available that can be moved to the sun, shade or under the roof. Our plot is a shaft plot so the garage is reached via a longer driveway up a hill. You can park the car right at your doorstep. The accommodation is best suited for two adults but an extra bed for children can be offered in the form of an air mattress. Bed linen, towels and final cleaning are included when you book. Other things to note From the accommodation, you are close to most things. It is about 600 meters to a swimming area with a small beach and a bathing ladder that is perfect for the morning swim. If you take a walk of about 700 meters, you will come to the grocery store where the bus stop is also located. On Resarö, there is a grocery store as well as a summer café with rights and tennis courts outdoors that can easily be booked online. Only 5 kilometers away is the archipelago idyll Vaxholm with shops, fortress, ice cream bars and restaurants. There are pharmacies and Systembolaget as well as a large selection of archipelago ferries to either get further out into the archipelago or into Stockholm (one hour by boat). In addition to tennis and paddle, there are several golf courses in the nearby area, the opportunity to rent a kayak or SUP at Kanotcenter, challenge yourself on a high-altitude course at Vaxholm Skypark or explore Bogesund's nature reserve with a castle café, beautiful hiking trails and sandy beaches. To Stockholm, it takes 30 minutes by car and 45 minutes by bus.
